FORGIVENESS

Ernestine Hopkins is a wife, mother, educator, and an author of a short fiction novel titled Saving Myself From Me.  Not only does she want to write stories that are relevant to most teens and adults, but she wants her readers to be motivated and inspired by her books!  Her personal mission is to help others learn how to let hope speak in their lives, build the courage to fight for their success, and never give up.

She had the opportunity to help pilot an empowerment program called Girls Who Conquer with Naderia Hartley at a local middle school in San Antonio, TX.   After co-facilitating this program for two school years, she and Naderia knew that it was just the beginning of the journey for Girls Who Conquer and began their quest to offer the program to the City of San Antonio and surrounding areas.

At the upcoming Annual Girls Who Conquer Conference, she is excited to help teens grow and become free from their past hurts. She wholeheartedly believes that once they are no longer held captive by their pain, they will be well on their way to a brighter future where their past experiences and/or current circumstances no longer stunt their growth as individuals.

POSITIVE SELF-IMAGE

Denise Lewis is a Health Educator.  She is excited to share the message that a positive self image is rooted deeper than the clothes we wear and pictures we post. It's rooted in God, as we were made in His image. Having a positive self image not only affects the way we think of ourselves but also how we interact with the people and world, around us. Her hope is to help young girls understand their worth and to not settle for the treatment of anything less.
